The meeting was largely procedural, focusing on commission reports and passing a consent calendar. A bill to protect Muslim and Palestinian students was moved to immediate consideration and passed unanimously after a brief discussion and amendment. The remainder of the meeting involved introducing new legislation and handling routine announcements.
