Week 10 / Fall 2025

ASUC Senate Meeting
Tuesday, November 4, 2025

ASUC Senate Chambers (510 Eshleman Hall)

This was a relatively short and straightforward meeting focused on routine procedural matters. The agenda was adopted, guest reports were heard, and the consent calendar was passed without debate. Two new bills were introduced and referred to their respective committees for review.

The EAVP gave a presentation and answered a question about efforts to establish a polling station on Northside. The office initially wanted a full polling location but lacked data to justify it and faced financial and time constraints. They did manage to get more office workers and will try to add an additional polling or drop-off location in the future.

I came here two weeks ago with proposals that will be implemented this year. I'm seeing how it works and how you can tell your constituents to submit requests in one place. For our plans for the student fee forum, it would be a great help if someone could provide me with the date for voting on referendums.
