The meeting was largely procedural, featuring several guest presentations including a detailed Q&A with the UCPD Chief about campus safety. Public comment was notable for its passionate support of a resolution to commemorate Artsakh Remembrance Day. The business portion of the meeting was light, with all legislative items passing on the consent calendar without debate.

On November 5th, we are calling for a million people in DC. We need to oppose Trump's power and people need to stand up against this regime. You have the power to remove this regime. We are the students, we are the power. Whether you stay with the regents or go outside the box, you have the power here. Someone should write a resolution today. That is my call.
I am an international student from Armenia. On today's agenda, there is a resolution. I will not talk about why that resolution is important, but if you are familiar with this issue, you will understand why. I thank all the co-sponsors for the passing of the resolution and for the opportunity for this type of resolution to be passed.
I am David, part of the Regional Assembly of America. I want to thank ASUC mentors for providing a space for Cal students to feel they belong, and thank you for introducing the upcoming resolution. There have been two wars, one in 2020, with a loss of Armenian soldiers' lives. There are 23 known hostages held illegally where families have suffered by the regime. We hope that the student body will stand for the freedom and human rights of everyone.
I am on the Committee of Student Fees. I have been trying to promote our Instagram, where we focus on where our fees go. I would appreciate it if we could change the counting to just 'yes' and 'no'.
What is Instagram?
I was aware that there is a 'no kings' protest in San Francisco.
I know you said you were at the meetings a couple of weeks ago.
