Presenting on behalf of President Abigail Verino, staff intern Gabby Torres announced that Multicultural Initiative Fund applications close tonight at 11:59 p.m. The office is hosting a bake sale and tabling for Breast Cancer Awareness Month benefiting the Women's Cancer Resource Center. Additionally, senators were asked to share any campus concerns regarding UCPD ahead of an upcoming November meeting with Chief Pittman.

Kyla Frank, a staff field organizer for UPTE, detailed the labor issues facing UC staff, including low wages, short staffing, and upcoming multi-union strikes. She asked students and ASUC representatives to support UPTE by signing petitions, joining the student strike committee, and attending upcoming strike actions.
Brecken, the chapter chair of CalPIRG, provided an update on the organization's pledge drive, noting that they finished early and secured pledges from 12% of the UC Berkeley student body.
A representative from the Committee on Student Fees provided updates regarding plans to host a student fee forum in the spring prior to referendum voting. They also shared an initiative to streamline student grant applications across campus committees to prevent double dipping and overfunding, inviting interested senators to collaborate.
