The meeting was largely procedural, featuring numerous presentations from campus departments and student commissions. A significant portion of public comment was dedicated to advocating for campus sustainability initiatives, particularly the Clean Energy Campus resolution (SR 25/26-090), which passed. Several new resolutions were introduced for committee review.

The student fee forum is in the East Pauley Ballroom. I would love for you to spread the word to your communities.
I am advocating for Senator Solomon's proposal to establish 'the shade'. She showed me a site with poorly maintained native plants that could be mowed down to create a new grass area for students to work and hang out by Strawberry Creek. This proposal would allow for that.
Our campus is powered by great ideas, but its energy infrastructure is not sustainable. It's important to support the campus electrification project. We need student support to understand its impact on paths to campus and sustainability. This is a long-standing project, and we need the Senate's help for a collaborative effort with other campus committees. I think the Senate would benefit from a student committee on this.
The ASUC ECO office has long fought for sustainability and electrification on campus. We encourage you to support the proposal, as this large project will affect students.
It is essential for Berkeley to become a leader in environmental justice. This requires a just transition component, allowing people to learn about the energy process. The plant poses risks to worker safety. I urge you to vote yes on the ECO office resolution.
I support campus electrification. It aligns with our sustainability values and will increase efficiency. This will help Berkeley be seen as a leader, like UC Davis which is working to be a net-zero campus. We hope you support this bill.
I did not realize the agenda had changed, but I highly encourage you to pass SR 25/26-096. This is an opportunity for undergraduates to have a say on the university as a whole.
