This resolution directs the ASUC to express strong support for California Assembly Constitutional Amendment No. 18 (ACA 18), which proposes to expand student representation on the UC Board of Regents from one to two voting members. This action matters to students as it ensures their voices are more fully represented in critical decisions regarding tuition, housing, and campus safety. The ASUC commits to advocating alongside partner organizations to advance ACA 18 through the legislative process and calls upon the California State Legislature to pass it.

I did not realize the agenda had changed, but I highly encourage you to pass SR 25/26-096. This is an opportunity for undergraduates to have a say on the university as a whole.
