In Support of California SB 1048, AB 2218, and SB 954

This resolution supports SB 1048 for establishing a State Seal of Climate Literacy, AB 2218 for correcting water inequities and providing reparations to California Native people, and SB 954 for strengthening environmental and labor protections in advanced manufacturing, provided an amendment further narrows its definition. These endorsements align with UC Berkeley's commitments to sustainability, restorative justice, and environmental justice, impacting students by promoting climate literacy and supporting broader community well-being.
