Recognizing December 3rd as International Day of Persons With Disabilities

This resolution officially recognizes December 3rd as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. It calls upon Chancellor Rich Lyons and other UC Berkeley leadership to uplift and celebrate the wider Berkeley disabled community. Additionally, it encourages ASUC officials to collaborate with student-centered disability organizations like the Disabled Students Commission (DSC) and the Disabled Students’ Program (DSP) to promote intersectionality.
