Modernization of Autonomy and Committees, and Reforming Oversight (MACRO) Act

This resolution enacts the Modernization of Autonomy and Committees, and Reforming Oversight (MACRO) Act, which comprehensively updates ASUC bylaws concerning student fee governance, autonomous units, and the relationship with Student Governance and Program Advising. It establishes a new Units Governance Committee to centralize oversight of Chartered Programs, Commissions, and General Committees, and clarifies processes for student fee proposals, including reauthorizing the Interorganizational Committee on Student Fee Governance. The bill also mandates a minimum of $1,500 per year for each Commission and sets an implementation timeline for the Units Governance Committee to take effect by December 2026.
