The Associated Students of the University of California (ASUC) recognizes Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) as a growing threat to the Southeast Asian community and commits to expanding funding for immigration-related resources, legal services, and holistic support for Southeast Asian and immigrant students at UC Berkeley. The ASUC will also organize programming like Red Card distributions and teach-ins, and urges elected officials to condemn ICE's activities. This resolution reaffirms ASUC's commitment to student safety and access to resources regardless of immigration status.
