For Strengthened Accountability and Understanding Between ASUC Governance Bodies

This resolution directs the ASUC to amend its Bylaws, specifically ASUCBL 1222, 1502, 1503, 1205, and 1108, to include the Judicial Council Chair as an ex officio non-voting member of the Governance & Internal Affairs Committee and to establish clear attendance and mandatory duty standards for Judicial Council members. This action is crucial for students as it ensures consistent year-round engagement, improves institutional understanding, and strengthens accountability and transparency across ASUC governance bodies, particularly for stipended positions. The new requirements will be implemented starting with the Fall 2026 semester.
