SR 25/26-120:Retaining Administration of the Multicultural Initiative Fund (MIF) Under the Office of the President

This resolution directs the ASUC Office of the President (OP) to retain administration of the Multicultural Initiative Fund (MIF), reversing a previous Senate decision to transfer it. It mandates that the OP disclose MIF fund allocations and applicant evaluations to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) and continue to abide by transparency measures. Furthermore, it requires the OP and OCFO to develop a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by April 17, 2026, to ensure ongoing transparency and equity in the fund's management, which is an annual $75,000 grant supporting cultural student organizations.
