Addressing the Need for Student Third Places

This resolution directs the ASUC to regularly create "third places" for students, which are vital informal gathering spaces beyond home and work. It mandates that relevant executive officers produce a report on student spaces by the fourth Senate meeting of the 2026-27 academic year, and requires each senatorial office to facilitate at least two publicly accessible third place events per semester. This initiative addresses the critical need for permanent and accessible community spaces, particularly for underrepresented students, enhancing their sense of belonging and academic success.
