Addressing the Humanitarian Crisis in Myanmar

This resolution recognizes the legitimacy of Myanmar's 2020 election results and acknowledges the 2021 military coup and the ongoing Myanmar Civil War as a humanitarian crisis. It directs ASUC Senators to collaborate with the Southeast Asian Community Endorsed Senate Office and the Burmese Student Association at Berkeley. The goal is to center the voices and safety of Burmese students and diaspora communities through initiatives promoting awareness, education, and solidarity across campus.
