SR 25/26-085:Endorsing UCSA’s 2025-26 RJN Campaign

If passed, the ASUC would formally support the University of California Student Association’s (UCSA) 2025-26 Racial Justice Now (RJN) Campaign and its call for a UC First-Generation Workforce Development Program. This resolution also endorses UCSA’s 2026-27 one-time budget request for $5 million to expand workforce development initiatives and encourages UC Berkeley to expand credit-bearing internships. These actions aim to address long-standing disparities in post-graduation outcomes for first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students, promoting educational equity and social mobility.
