Recognition of Genocide in Sudan

This resolution formally recognizes the genocide in Sudan and directs the ASUC to express solidarity with the Sudanese people. It mandates ASUC elected officials to collaborate with Black and Muslim community senate offices and the Faces of Afro Muslims RSO to organize campus-wide fundraisers and awareness campaigns. Additionally, it calls for a boycott of the UAE and specific companies, including BlackRock, for their alleged support of the Rapid Support Forces, and urges the UC Regents to divest from BlackRock investments.
