Recognize and Commemorate Pilipinx American Hxstory Month in October

This resolution formally recognizes October as Filipino American History Month and encourages the UC Berkeley campus community to engage in educational programs and sociocultural events. It directs the ASUC and student organizations to collaborate with Filipino organizations and academic departments to commemorate Pilipinx American Hxstory Month. This action aims to raise awareness of Filipino American contributions and the historical context of U.S. colonization in the Philippines, including UC Berkeley's complicity, thereby strengthening community identity and ensuring history is preserved.
